Intendente Dr. Juan de Jesús propone al Gobernador Axel Kicillof, revisar ley 9.024 que dividió municipios costeros durante el Gobierno De Facto de 1976.El intendente Dr. Juan de Jesús, del Partido de La Costa (anteriormente conocido como Municipio Urbano de la Costa), ha planteado la necesidad de revisar la ley 9.024, promulgada durante la dictadura en 1978, la cual dividió varios municipios costeros de la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Esta medida, que llevó a la creación de nuevos municipios como «Municipio Urbano de la Costa», «Municipio Urbano de Pinamar» y «Municipio Urbano de Villa Gesell», ha sido objeto de críticas por su impacto en la identidad y la cohesión de las comunidades afectadas.
FRAGMENTO LEY DE 1978:
La Plata, 11 de abril de 1978. Visto lo actuado en el expediente número 2.240-265/977 y la autorización otorgada mediante la instrucción número 1/977, artículo 19, apartado 3.1. de la Junta Militar; en ejercicio de las facultades legislativas por .1a conferidas, el Gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, sanciona y promulga con fuerza de—
LEY: Art. 19 Créase, sobre territorio perteneciente a los actuales partidos de General Lavalle y General Madariaga, tres (3) nuevos partidos, que se denominarán «Municipio Urbano de la Costa», «Municipio Urbano de Pinamar» y «Municipio Urbano de Villa Gesell». Art. 29 El partido denominado «Municipio Urbano de la Costa» estará formado por territorio perteneciente actualmente al partido de General Lavalle y comprendido entre los siguientes límites: al oeste y separándolo de General Lavalle, la traza de la ruta interbalnearia desde el límite actual con el partido de General Madariaga hasta su finalización en la intersección con el camino de acceso a San Clemente del Tuyú —abarcando parte del territorio de General Lavalle fuera de este límite a efectos de incluir el terreno del aeropuerto de Santa Teresita— prolongándose imaginariamente la traza hasta encontrar el nacimiento de la Ría del Tuyú, continuando por ésta hasta su desembocadura en el Océano Atlántico. Al norte y al este el Océano Atlántico, desde la desembocadura de la Ría pasando por Punta Rasa y hasta el límite actual con el partido de General Madariaga. Al sur el límite actual con el partido de General Madariaga, desde el Océano Atlántico hasta la traza de la ruta interbalnearia.

En un contexto donde se busca promover la integración regional y reconstruir la unidad entre los municipios costeros, surge la pregunta sobre la intención del intendente De Jeus, de reconstruir el tejido social de estas localidades.
¿Podría la revisión de esta ley ser el primer paso hacia la reunificación de estos municipios bajo una misma planificación?
Durante una recorrida por Villa Gesell, acompañando al Gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, el intendente Juan de Jesús resaltó la importancia de revisar una medida tomada por el Gobierno De Facto de 1976, que según él, desarticuló a las comunidades y afectó profundamente su identidad y cultura.
«En 1978 la Junta Militar dividió pueblos, como Monte Hermoso de Dorrego; Pinamar y Gesell de Madariaga; La Costa de General Lavalle. Eso nos desarticuló como comunidades. Nos separaron, quitándonos identidad, trastocando nuestras culturas», expresó el intendente.

¿Podría la revisión de la ley 9024, ser el primer paso hacia este objetivo?
Esta iniciativa de Juan de Jesús ha sido recibida con apoyo por parte de distintos sectores de la sociedad y de la política local, quienes ven en la revisión de esta ley un paso crucial hacia la reconstrucción del tejido social y la identidad de los municipios costeros de la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Sin embargo, se espera un debate profundo en el ámbito legislativo provincial sobre el alcance y las implicancias de esta medida, así como posibles resistencias por parte de sectores que puedan ver afectados sus intereses.
